Mallory's Take

Everybody was one of the more complicated productions I have stage managed. This show had five principle actors that played different characters each performance. The director had a very open concept for this play and it was performed in an outdoor space on Missouri State's campus. This production challenged me to adapt quickly to whatever might be thrown my way. The week we were moving to the space the weather was all over the place. It snowed, rained, and was over 75 degrees in one week. The snow/rain did force us to cancel our dress rehearsals therefore the cast was unable to perform at the space until opening night. As the stage manager I worked closely with the ASM to make sure we could transport all our scenic elements to and from the space. We also had all the paperwork we could to help the cast once we arrived at the space.
